ある方からのメールで、興味深い見解を知りました。ここに転載いたします。(2003.3.29）
元国連兵器査察官のスコット・リッター氏の見解です（イラク戦争勃発直後２００３．３．２５）。

【スコット・リッター氏の著書『War on Iraq: What Team Bush Doesn't Want You to Know 』は、『イラク戦争―元国連大量破壊兵器査察官スコット・リッターの証言 ブッシュ政権が隠したい事実』［合同出版、2003年］として邦訳されている。 彼は弾道ミサイル技術の専門家で、米軍では12年間、軍事諜報業務に従事してい た。98年にクリントン政権に抗議して国連特別委員会を辞職したが、それは同政権 が国連兵器査察プロセスをご破算にしてしまったからだという。】
